The Election
Results Viewer allows you to select only those contests and/or propositions
you want to follow throughout the election. In a
separate window, the Viewer presents a continuously scrolling display
of your selected election returns, updating them approximately every
ten minutes without additional action on your part. To use the Election Results Viewer:
Step 1:
Test for Java. Your browser is java enabled if you can see the "java is enabled" graphic below. If you
see the graphic, move on to step 2. If you do not see it, you will need to download a java
update by clicking here: Enable Java.
Step 2:
Open the Viewer. Click on the Start Player button below.
The Viewer takes 1 or 2 minutes to
download and open on your system, and is best displayed with
Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher) or Netscape (version 4.5
or higher). Downloading is necessary one time only; thereafter, the Viewer opens
immediately upon starting.
Step 3:
Make viewing selections. Select
the contests and/or
propositions you want to track. (See Viewer Controls.)
Step 4:
Start the Viewer. Click
on "Play",
and enjoy! (Click on "Create
New List" and repeat steps 2 & 3 if you
want to change selections.)
